Community Engagement and Partnerships

HREP Malawi aims at building knowledge of community members and non-state actors on health systems is key in attainment of Malawi Health Sector Strategic Plan III(HSSP III) Investment Case, Malawi 2063, Universal Health Coverage(UHC), Primary Health Care(PHC) and Sustainable Development Goals(SDG's) 2030 targets. We Build a community of practice among CSO's , Youth and Non-state actors by; (!)Conducting community needs assessment - HREP Malawi conducts a comprehensive assessment to understand the specific healthcare needs and priorities of the community by gathering different community stories and also involve community members in the planning processes of other advocy and lobbying process to ensure their voices are heard. (2) Capacity Building - HREP Malawi aims at providing training and capacity building programs to empower community members on the health righs and collaborate with non-state actors to enhance community capacity . (3) Advocacy and Awareness- As it is our foremost goal, we advocate for the rights of the communities and raise awareness about those key issues that affect the communities. (4) Collaboration with Non-state actors - at HREP Malawi we identify and engage with non-state actors with a similar focus of the health care sector and foster partnerships for a more comprehensive and collaborative approach to dealing with the Health rights for all .
